The Atlanta Institute of Musical Theatre aims to advance and enrich the musical theatre community in Atlanta through the production of new works and provision of educational opportunities for actors of all ages and abilities.
We aim to premiere new, cutting edge musical works, provide a space for writers and creators to host the infancy of their projects, create employment for Atlanta-area actors, facilitate relationships between creatives and artists and heighten awareness of musical theatre trends for audiences.
We will provide rigorous and extensive musical theatre training for adult and young adult professionals, along with workshops, masterclasses and community based learning opportunities with a goal of accessibility to all.
We will remain run by musical theatre professionals who care deeply about the Atlanta theatrical community, the advancement of musical theatre education and the future of the art form.
