Mission Statement

The Atlanta Institute of Musical Theatre is dedicated to advancing musical theatre in Atlanta by providing high-quality education and professional training to middle school and high school students as well as adults. We aim to nurture the next generation of musical theatre artists through rigorous programs like ACT: Advanced Conservatory Training for students and to support adult and young adult professionals through intensive training, workshops, masterclasses, and community-based learning.

We are committed to accessibility, professional development, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive theatrical community led by dedicated industry professionals who care deeply about the future of musical theatre in Atlanta and beyond.

Our Space

The Atlanta Institute for Musical Theatre is proud to lease space at The Studios Brookhaven, one of Atlanta’s premier performing arts studios. Our students train in a top-tier facility that offers everything a serious musical theatre artist needs under one roof.

The space features a 1,500-square-foot dance studio with sprung Marley floors, six private music studios—each equipped with a beautiful acoustic piano—and a black box theatre-style performance space with a 24-foot stage, professional theatre lighting, a full sound system, and a 15-foot projection screen.

This dynamic and fully equipped environment provides the perfect backdrop for high-level training, rehearsal, and performance.
